Effective Fireproof Insulation

Spray foam insulation is widely recognized as one of the most versatile and efficient insulation solutions on the market. Its seamless, continuous membrane can adhere to almost any structure, including challenging shapes like curves and voids, making it an ideal choice for both modern and older buildings. This insulation not only enhances energy efficiency but also stabilizes and weatherproofs structures, significantly extending their lifespan.

Applied in a liquid state, spray foam insulation expands to the desired thickness before setting into a rigid, durable foam, forming a continuous thermal barrier that effectively prevents drafts and condensation, thereby reducing energy costs. It offers superior insulating properties per thickness, lowering U-values and ensuring optimal thermal performance.

Our spray foam insulation meets all current building regulations at competitive prices. Compliant with fire safety standards (BS476 Part 7 / Class “0” non-combustible), it also has additional fire-resistant coatings for applications where enhanced fire protection is crucial.

Composed of polyurethane, spray foam insulation is based on a chemical structure of organic units (mainly hydrocarbons) linked by urethane groups, formed by the reaction between polyol and isocyanate. This unique structure gives rise to various polyurethane products, from sponges to foam seals, and in our case, effective insulation.

Originally developed by Otto Bayer in the 1930s, polyurethane found its place as a building insulation material in 1979. When polyol resin and isocyanate mix, they undergo a chemical reaction, expanding from liquid to solid to create the high-performance insulation we use today.

Where Can Spray Foam Be Used?

Spray Foam for Insulating a Roof
Spray foam is highly effective for roof insulation. Since heat naturally rises, the upper floors of a building tend to be warmer than the ground floor or basement. Insulating the roof prevents this heat from escaping, helping to keep your home more energy-efficient.

Using Spray Foam for Loft Insulation
Loft insulation with spray foam is an efficient way to prevent heat loss, reduce energy bills, and protect the environment. Traditional insulation methods can take up valuable loft space, limiting its use for storage or living areas. Spray foam insulation requires only a few millimeters to be effective, preserving the loft space for multiple purposes.

Spray Foam for Cavity Walls
Foam insulation in cavity walls is a popular choice for keeping indoor heat from escaping, especially when room temperatures are higher than the outside—often the case in the UK. Using spray foam helps retain warmth and improve overall energy efficiency.

Spray Foam for various Commercial Applications

Foam insulation also has numerous commercial uses, including:

- Car parks
- Concrete soffits
- School lofts
- Office spaces
- Trench breakers
- Water stops
- Agricultural areas (such as barns, stables, and storage containers)
