Routine Electrical Inspections

Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICR)

24Nationwide conduct thorough electrical tests and visual inspections of electrical installations to ensure that businesses operate in a safe environment.

We offer comprehensive Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICR) and Periodic Testing to identify any potential safety issues, defects, or deviations from current electrical regulations (BS7671). It is a legal requirement for all commercial buildings to undergo electrical testing every five years.

Our EICR includes:

- A site visit by a qualified electrical engineer
- Visual inspections and electrical testing of infrastructure and accessories
- Scheduled repeat visits every five years, in compliance with BS7671 regulations

Conducting electrical testing with an EICR helps businesses meet insurance requirements and stay compliant with current regulations.

Upon completion, we provide a visible sticker indicating the test date, along with certificates that state whether the installation is satisfactory or unsatisfactory. If any defects are found, we offer quotes for necessary repairs or arrange maintenance, ensuring adherence to legislation. This guarantees compliance with insurance regulations and provides peace of mind for teams, customers, and visitors in the workplace.

Thermal Imaging Surveys

What is a Thermal Survey?

A thermal survey, also known as infrared thermography, uses a thermal camera to capture images based on the infrared radiation emitted by objects.

If you need a routine survey of your building, or if you're searching for leaks in hard-to-reach areas, thermal surveys are an effective and cost-efficient solution that consistently delivers quick results.

Thermal imaging doesn’t require visible light; it detects temperature variations and produces clear images where hotter objects are displayed in shades of yellow, orange, or red.

How Does a Thermal Survey Work?

During a thermal imaging survey, cameras are used that can detect heat differences from a variety of sources, including buildings, liquids, gases, electrical circuits, machinery and insulation.

By using thermal imaging systems mounted on Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS), we can capture temperature variations from an aerial perspective.

These images are generated from infrared thermal radiation, allowing us to detect temperature changes as small as 0.01°C. This provides a comprehensive dataset, enabling customers to quickly identify leaks or malfunctions.
