IP Video Frame Rate Explained

The below CCTV demo shows the difference between 1 to 30 frames per second. When specifying  the recording times of DVR’s/NVR’s people always think it is best to have 30 frames per second (real time) but this means very large hard drives which is a much more expensive option.

The reality, as demonstrated below, is that keeping to around 10 frames per second is virtually the same but more significantly cheaper with a lower hard drive capacity.
